On May 10, 2007, the Tsinghua International Business and Networking Club organized the first ever interschool event to bring together current Master level students from the schools of engineering, public administration, law, journalism and also other interested parties. The event took place at the Tsinghua Science Park and included a presentation regarding the current activities taking place.
The purpose of the event was to promote greater interaction among schools and to explore potential entrepreneurial connections among the students. Many MBA students and engineering students had discussions on how to form a functional team that can attract both attention and funding opportunities from International Venture Capitalists. Areas represented included electronic (computer design and programing), electrical, environmental (clean energy and technology), and chemical engineering departments. Also in attendence were the Schools of Journalism, Law, and Architecture.
