There was a successful conference about the 11^th Tsinghua MBA Student Association in the Room 102 of Shunde Building at Tsinghua SEM on the evening of May 21^st of 2008, officially announcing the establishment of the 11^th Tsinghua MBA Student Association. The theme of this conference was “serving students and enhancing Tsinghua MBA Brand”. The attendees were Zhu Yan, the Associate Dean, Mao Donghui, the executive director of MBA Programs, Yun Tao, director of Student Affairs of MBA Programs, and also some other leaders and teachers in charge of the school. With invitations, both the 11^th and 10^th chairman members and some key members of the Student Association attended the conference. This conference also invited some other representatives, such as chairmen of some Tsinghua MBA clubs, 07 Tsinghua MBA and 08 student representatives, the 2008 pre-admission student representatives of Tsinghua MBA, representatives of some other colleges and some related media.

Since it was the third day of the national mourning day, all participants had a three-minute silence to express the deep grief to the victims of “5.12 Earthquake” before the official start. The deceased rested in peace, and the living should be strong. All the fellows of Student Association would redouble their efforts to study diligently and work hard to comfort the deceased. Just as the host said, “Today’s meeting is not only the establishment of the 11^th Student Association, but also our swearing to strongly move forward”.

During the conference, both the Associate Dean Zhu Yan and the executive director Mao Donghui gave a wonderful speech, and expressed their profound wish to the MBA students and the work of Student Association. “MBA” means difference from others and means the courage to shoulder responsibility as well. After the earthquake, Tsinghua MBA students and alumni were very enthusiastically to donation, which reflected their strong sense of social responsibility and the eternal inheritance of the tradition of Tsinghua MBA.

The chairmen of the 11^th Tsinghua MBA Student Association put forward the slogan “Serving Students and Enhancing Tsinghua MBA Brand” as their working tenet. Serving students with heart and soul at the same time, they would love to regard Tsinghua MBA spirits and cultural traditions as a brand to manage, maintain, develop and upgrade, so that the whole society can see the spirit and characters of Tsinghua MBA.

When the 11^th Chairman of the Student Association Cheng Jun received the banner from the last Chairman Yu Lijiang, the conference came into its climax. Later the new chairman members of the Student Association presented themselves in the conference, and they are the chairman Cheng Jun, the Secretary Ding Wu, the Vice Chairmen Guo Mingxing, Long Lin, Sun Jian, Qiao Wei and Wen Shaobo. All the departments of the new Student Association demonstrated their future work plan to the participants. The working concept of “to work together, share together, progress together”, put forward by the Chairman Cheng Jun, was well interpreted in the team presentation. The key members from other MBA Student Associations also had fabulous speeches, wining applauses from the audiences again and again.

At the conference, Jia Ruipeng, the President of China’s MBA Beijing Union, and Wang Qing, the President of Peking University MBA Association, respectively made a warm address and congratulations to the conference on behalf of other brother colleges. In the blessing of everyone, the conference of the establishment of 11^th MBA Student Association was successfully closed.
