More than 300 SEM faculty and students took part in the National Day Parade as people across the country are celebrating the 60th anniversary of the founding of People’s Republic of China.
More than 5,000 from Tsinghua University participated in the massive National Day celebration in Beijing's Tian'anmen area, including the mass pageant, the choir in Tian'anmen Square, and the gala at Tian'anmen Square on the night of October 1. Faculty and students from Tsinghua SEM account for 6% of all the Tsinghua participants.
