The fifth China MBA Business Case Competition, co-hosted by Tsinghua SEM MBA Center and the Management Magazine, has formally kicked off at Tsinghua SEM on November 28.
The competition for North China Division has drawn more than 60 participating teams, 27 of which consist of undergraduates, post-graduates and MBAs from Tsinghua University, and 34 are MBA teams from universities in Beijing and Tianjing Region, including Peking University, Rennin University, Nankai University and the University of International Business and Economics,etc.. The final competition for North China Division will take place on December 6, when three teams will be selected out to take part in the Nationwide Competition Final at Tsinghua SEM on December 20.
Seven other teams participating the Nationwide Final are selected from the College of Commerce at Taiwan Chengchi University, the Business School of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business, China Europe International Business School, Antai College of Economics and Management of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Lingnan College of Sun Yat-sen University and the School of Management of Harbin Institute of Technology.
Formally launched in November 2005, the China MBA Business Case Competition has become an annual event for exchanges and communications within business education community in mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan. Professors and experts from Tsinghua University China Business Case Center serve as academic supervisors of this year’s competition.
