Emerson (NYSE: EMR) awarded scholarships o Billy Xiong and Tony Zhang from Tsinghua SEM at a ceremony held on April 26 at its Beijing corporate office, with Jennie Li, director of government & corporate relations of Emerson China and chief representative of Emerson Beijing office presenting the scholarship certificates.

At the ceremony, Jennie Li complimented on their outstanding academic achievements. She also shared that Emerson will continue to support education in

and hoped that more talents can serve the community after graduation with Emerson’s support.
Xiong and Zhang, who are both Tsinghua MBAs, class of 2010, stood out after a series of interviews and appraisals on leadership, analytical skills, decision-making abilities and communication skills.
“Emerson is a leading multinational company. I am grateful for this opportunity, and it will definitely enhance my confidence, which can help the future career development,” Xiong said. Before pursuing the MBA degree, Zhang worked for 2 years in Emerson (
Beijing
) Instrument Co., Ltd., a division of Emerson. As a former employee, he has a strong bonding with Emerson. He wishes the company every success.
Besides the MBA scholarship in Tsinghua SEM, Emerson also supports the Tsinghua MBA Orientation and promotion events, supporting Tsinghua MBA education in various aspects.
