In the 2010 fall semester, sixteen new members joined the SEM faculty.
The new members include both newly graduated young scholars and senior professors with years of teaching experience. Some of them are Tsinghua alumni who returned to China from abroad. Some are foreigners invited from international institutes.
They come from a variety of universities in different countries, including the U.S., Canada, Britain and Austrilia.
SEM has always been attaching significant importance to faculty development. In the past five years, the School has recruited over 50 full-time faculty members.
