Tsinghua MBA Launches Alumni Council

On the morning of April 23, Tsinghua MBA Programs hosted a launching ceremony for the MBA Alumni Council on an alumni reunion cocktail party.

Over 300 MBA alumni were present at the party, including 18 alumni from class 1991, the first group of Tsinghua MBA students.

Assistant Dean GAO Jian of SEM spoke at the party. He said, the School plans to hold four Alumni Days in Beijing, Shanghai, Shenzhen and one extra city each year, showing great importance it attaches to alumni connection. Meanwhile, Tsinghua MBA alumni have been highly supportive of the development of the School along the years: over 400 alumni have registered as student mentors and entrepreneur head teachers for incoming students; alumni enterprises have been contributed to the integrative practice projects by offering company visit and internship opportunities. He wished even greater success for all MBA alumni in their future career.

MAO Donghui, Executive Vice Director of Tsinghua MBA Programs, introduced the prospects of Tsinghua MBA Alumni Council. After an introduction of the locations and work information of existing alumni, about twenty MBA alumni signed their names to kick off the initial organization of the council.

The MBA Alumni Council will be managing events of MBA alumni associations. It aims to be a platform that further enhances the communication among alumni, and between alumni and SEM.

On the ceremony, present MBA alumni also donated gifts for the centenary celebration of Tsinghua University.
