In the morning of Sep.29, 2011, the 20^th anniversary conference for MBA education in China hosted by China Ntional MBA Education Supervisory Committee and undertaken by Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management was held ceremoniously in Beijing Conference Center. Distinguished guests including Mr. Ma Kai, State Councilor, CPC Party Member and Secretary-General of the State Council,and Mr. Du Zhanyuan  the Vice Minister of Education attended the conference and delivered speeches. Loaded with the harvest joy and happiness, more than 500 representatives from above 200 universities and colleges in China together with other distinguished guests of all walks and the media, altogether around 600 people gathered to retrospect the past and witness such an important historic moment. 

    During the conference, Professor Zhao Chunjun, deputy director of China Ntional MBA Education Supervisory Committee, Professor Liu Li form Pecking University as the representative of the faculty, Mr. Si Zefu from Tsinghua University as the representative of MBA graduates and Mr. Song Zhiping, president of both CNBM (China National Building Materials Froup Corporation) and Sinopharm as the representative of enterprises delivered remarks respectively. Representatives from well-known international education institutions such as GMAC, AACSB and EFMD also delivered congratulation speeches for the 20^th Anniversary of MBA education in China.

     The year 2011 was a special year for MBA in China. From the recruitment of MBA programs for the first group of experimental universities and colleges in 1991, up to now MBA in China has lived for 20 years. With the support of our country leaders, the effortful exploration of universities and the caring assistance of all works of society, MBA education walked a remarkable 20-year. During such a short period, the scope of 9 experimental universities and colleges in 1991 has been expanded to 236 today. MBA graduates played active parts on various fronts of Chinese economy, most of whom had become management backbones of state-owned corporations, private companies and international enterprises with some of them undertaking the high-level leadership of Chinese large-scaled enterprises.

    One of the significant items on the agenda was to launch the Authentication Program of High-quality MBA Education. Besides, the awardees of the 2^nd 100 Excellent Education Cases in China were granted the honorable certificates. 

    The conference concluded successfully in ardency.
