On February 12, 2007, the Wall Street Journal featured an article entitled "Mexico Case Study," which addresses how Mexico's economy has reacted due the growth of China. The author of the article interviewed Tsinghua International MBA student Eduardo Nieto del Rio on why he chose to come to Tsinghua University and his experiences so far, including his participation in a event last fall with U.S. Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson.
The article also mentions that China has hosted more than 141,000 foreign students in 2005,up 21% from 2004. In addition, the author recognizes that the Tsinghua International MBA program, now in its 10th year, had a 30% increase in foreign-student enrollment in the past year.
