“Every new friend is a new adventure… the start of more memories.”

The Global MBA and the Tsinghua-INSEAD EMBA (TIEMBA) classes came together for a great night on October 21, 2016 as the GMBA class welcomed its first networking event of the year.

More than 40 GMBA students and 20 TIEMBA students participated in this dinner event at the Holiday Inn across the street from Tsinghua’s campus. The GMBA class was honored to engage with the TIEMBA students during their short stay in Beijing. Every month, the TIEMBA students spend a week in Beijing and another week in Singapore. Despite their busy schedules, the two classes managed to make this event happen as the fruit of intentional passion for generating new cross-cultural overlap.

Cross-pollination of ideas, cohorts, and culinary experiences.

Accompanied with great food, wine, and relaxing music, the two classes shared their stories, life experiences, and even funny moments with each other late into the evening. The GMBA class would like to thank all the participants for making this event enjoyable and memorable! This is just the beginning of the year. What comes next, you might ask? STAY TUNED ; )
