On April 26-27th(London Time), our 2011 IMBA team attended the 2012 GreenTech Challenge Global FINAL(hosted by London Business School).
Through 2-month preparation, consisted of LUM Ji Hsiang(2011 IMBA)、LI Yuanchu(2011 IMBA)、HAO Tian(School of Environment,2010 Master Candidate)、LIU Longzhu(School of Economics and Management, 2010 Ph.D Candidate), the TEAM Green E4 outperformed other hundreds of competitors, and came to FINAL.

The final 10 teams come from China, U.K., U.S., Netherland, Belgium and etc. And the Green E4 is the only team from Asia.
Their idea is “Consumer Decision Support System--Based on Smart Phone Platform”. The concept is, through scanning the barcodes of consumer goods, consumer will be notified the ENVIRONMENT COST generated during the whole product life cycle, including manufacturing, transportation, consumption and disposal; through further analysis of the ENVIRONMENT COST of different products, it helps consumer to choose the one with lower ENVIRONMENT COST, and be environment friendly.

In the FINAL, the TEAM Sunuru from Delft University (Netherland) won the only champion.
