A dozen alumni together with their friends or relatives attended the baking gathering
In July 2013, Tsinghua-MIT IMBA program held the alumni baking gathering at Wenyi's Kitchen, a famous baking place in Beijing. For the whole morning, these alumni made two entry-level dishes, assorted pizza and butter cookie, under the guidance of teachers from Wenyi's Kitchen. On seeing dough turning into delicious pizza through processing in oven, everyone’s first reaction was to take a picture and then ask others to help taking a picture with these pizzas. After taking pictures, they carefully put their “works” into a box and almost nobody ate the pizza at the spot.
Except for enjoying the self baking fun, each alumni activity also provides a communication platform for alumni at different classes. They can not only gather together with their old classmates, but also make friends with other alumni at different classes, thereby expanding their social networking.
