In order to enhance communications between the alumni and the students, the International Affairs Office of Tsinghua MBA Programs invited LIU Qing (MBA 2001I), a Tsinghua-MIT IMBA alumna, to give the students a lecture on human resources and career development on the evening of April 20, titled “How to Work in State-owned and Foreign-funded Enterprises”.
LIU Qing (MBA 2001I)
LIU Qing (MBA 2001I), Global HR OD Manager of a multinational corporation, has more than ten years of working experience in human resources and used to work for state-owned and foreign-funded enterprises. In a warm atmosphere, the MBA students and SEM postgraduate students asked questions one after another on human resource management and personal career development. LIU Qing patiently replied these questions based on her own experience and professional knowledge, and offered constructive suggestions on the students’ future career planning.
At the close of the lecture, ZHOU Wenjia (MBA 2012F2), a student from Tsinghua MBA full-time class commented: “the lecture is good and real, which helps us a lot with our career planning. LIU Qing’s work experience after graduation is also a good reference for us.” Julieta CHAN (MBA 2012I), a student from Canada, talked with LIU Qing on her career planning after the lecture. She intended to stay in China and find a job in a new industry after graduation. LIU Qing helped her analyze the difficulties that might come up during the career change, and offered her some practical countermeasures. Julieta said she would like to try LIU Qing’s suggestions, so as to stay in China to do what she likes after graduation.
