Admission to Tsinghua Technology Innovation MBA Program (Part-Time)

The Tsinghua Technology Innovation MBA Program (Part-Time) is initiated by Tsinghua SEM in collaboration with Tsinghua University Shenzhen International Graduate School. Based on 30 years of advanced MBA education experience at Tsinghua SEM and supported by top-tier academic and industrial resources of the Tsinghua ecosystem, the Tsinghua Technology Innovation MBA Program aims to cultivate innovative leaders with deep insights into digital technology and modern finance to serve the sustainable development of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.


Duration: 2 years, part-time

Location: Main campus is in Shenzhen (Enrollment in Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School)

Language: Chinese

Tuition: 418,000yuan/2 years


Required Qualifications of Applicants

The Tsinghua Technology Innovation MBA Program (Part-Time) expects to admit students with proven intellect, integrity, leadership skills, and excellent development potential, who can challenge themselves and the status quo in their pursuits of success. Please check admissions criteria for international applicants below:

1. Applicants must be non-Chinese citizens with a valid personal ordinary-type passport;

2. Applicant should have a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree to a Bachelor's degree (or above) in China;

3. The students who will enroll in 2025 must obtain the nationally recognized bachelor's or master's degree (for the universities of Chinese mainland) or the degree authentication report issued by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education, P.R.China (CSCSE) (for overseas universities) before THU graduate student registration date of 2025, otherwise the admission qualification is invalid;

4. Applicants should be in good health and of good character (meet the physical examination requirements stipulated by the country and Tsinghua University), be well-behaved and be willing to abide by China's laws and regulations, as well as Tsinghua's rules;

5. Applicants with bachelor’s degree should have at least three years post-graduation work experience; applicants with master’s or doctor’s degree should have at least two years post-graduation work experience.

6. Applicants are required to possess Chinese language proficiency that can meet academic requirements and support communications during study.


How to Apply

Applicants should complete an online application through Tsinghua MBA Programs online application portal (https://mbaapplication.sem.tsinghua.edu.cn/user/login/GMBA/82) during the designated application period. Applicants should fill in the application information online, upload the application documents required and pay the application fee online to finish the submission.

Application Documents

A completed application should include ALL of the following items. Color scanned version of documents to be submitted online:

1. Passport bio page. Applicants should present bio page of personal ordinary-type passport. Those who previously held Chinese nationality and subsequently acquired foreign nationality are required to provide certificate of cancelled Chinese household registration (Hukou) and certificate of naturalized citizenship of other countries.

2. Personal statement: Use the format in the application system. The personal statement can be in Chinese or English.

3. Degree certificate and degree authentication:

Applicants are required to submit the original degree together with the degree authentication. The degree diploma awarded by overseas universities should be authenticated by Chinese Service Center for Scholarly Exchange, Ministry of Education, P.R.China (CSCSE). The degree diploma awarded by universities of Chinese mainland should be authenticated by Center for Student Services and Development, Ministry of Education, P.R.China (CSSD).

4. Academic transcript: Applicants should submit the academic transcript of their undergraduate study.

5. Two academic recommendation letters

Academic Recommendation Letters from scholars who hold the title of associate professor or higher, or senior professionals in a related academic field. Please follow the instructions on the online system for submission of online recommendation letters or upload the recommendation letters signed by references.

6. Current resume in English/Chinese


Application Remarks

1. Applicants are required to submit scanned images of all required documents at the time of application. All uploaded documents should be in Chinese or in English; otherwise notarial translations in Chinese or English are required. Once translated, the original documents and certified translations should be submitted together to the application system.

2. Please scan the original or notarized application documents in color using a scanner. Images captured by mobile phone or camera are not acceptable. Scans of copies are also not acceptable.

3. The application fee must be paid after submission of the application. Please apply online and pay the application fee in a safe place. The university is not responsible for any losses caused by your own operation errors or the leakage of your online payment account and password. Please consider carefully before paying the application fee online. If you cannot finish the application due to various reasons, the paid application fee will not be refunded. Regardless of whether the application is successful or not, the application fee is not refundable.

4. Applications with incomplete documents or without application fee payment will not be processed. Applicants should take the initiative to understand the application procedures and application requirements before applying. The applicant will be responsible for any consequences arising from failure to complete the application process as required.

5. Tsinghua University has the right to require applicants to provide original application materials or authentication documents issued by a designated institution for further inspection.

6. None of the above application documents will be returned.

7. If the higher-level department issues a new policy, Tsinghua University will make corresponding adjustments.

8. Applicants must ensure that the application information, application materials, degree certificate and degree authentication provided are true and accurate. If the admissions unit or certification department verifies that anything in the application is not true, the application, admission or study qualification will be cancelled.

9. Applicants who are found to be in breach of academic ethics, professional ethics, honesty and trustworthiness, discipline and law-abiding, etc., will not be admitted or admission/study qualification will be cancelled after this breach has been verified.

10.The relevant information, documents and messages that Tsinghua MBA Programs publish or send to applicants through websites, phone calls, emails, text messages, etc. are deemed to have been delivered. All consequences caused by the applicant’s personal negligence and other reasons shall be borne by the applicant himself/herself.


Evaluation and Admission

Tsinghua MBA Programs admits students based on evaluation of their application documents together with a comprehensive assessment. The application materials are reviewed by an expert group of Tsinghua MBA Programs admission committee, and the candidates for the comprehensive assessment will be selected based on the review results. The comprehensive assessment is generally based on interviews. The specific content, format, requirements and time arrangements are determined be notified to applicants who enter the comprehensive assessment.


Tsinghua University comprehensively considers the results of material review, comprehensive assessment and other factors, selects the best candidates, and determines the admission list. A Certificate of Admission and the appendix will be issued by Tsinghua University after the final admission result is released.

清华科技创新MBA项目2025年招收国际研究生简章


清华科技创新MBA项目由清华大学经济管理学院和深圳国际研究生院在深圳合作开办。旨在培养具有数字科技和现代金融素养的创新领导者,服务粤港澳大湾区的可持续发展。

学制:2年,非全日制

授课地点:深圳(学籍在深圳国际研究生院)

授课语言:中文

申请资格

1. 申请者须为持外国因私普通护照的非中国籍公民;

2. 应具有与中国学士学位相当的学位;

3. 2025年我校研究生新生入学报到日之前必须取得国家承认的学士或硕士学位(境内高校)或教育部留学服务中心出具的《国(境)外学历学位认证书》(境外高校),否则录取资格无效;

4. 申请者应品行良好、身心健康(符合国家和我校规定的体检要求),愿意遵守中国的法律法规及清华大学规章制度;

5. 申请人获得学士学位后,须有三年以上 (含三年) 工作经验;或获得硕士、博士研究生学位后,有两年以上(含两年) 工作经验;

6. 汉语能力应满足项目的语言水平要求。

申请人须登录清华MBA项目国际生报名入口填写报名信息,于每轮申请截止日期前提交报名申请和项目要求材料,根据项目指导完成报名费缴纳后,方为报名成功。

申请材料

1. 护照:申请者须提供个人因私普通护照的个人信息页。原为中国公民、后加入外国国籍者,还须提供:户籍注销证明和加入其他国家国籍证明。申请者若持个人因私普通护照及在华外交签证,还须提供外交签证页;

2. 个人陈述:使用系统中提供的个人陈述模板进行填写,中文和英文均可;

3. 学位证书及学位认证报告: 须提交学士学位证书原件;在境外高校获学位证书的申请者原则上须提交中国教育部留学服务中心的学位认证报告。在中国境内高校获学位证书的申请者原则上须提供中国高等教育学生信息网(学信网)出具的学位认证报告。

4. 成绩单扫描件:须提供本科成绩单。申请人所提供的成绩单须由就读学校官方签发。

5. 两份专家推荐书(中英文均可):推荐人须为副教授或相应职称以上的学者,或者相关行业内的资深专业人士。可根据系统说明完成在线推荐信或上传推荐人签字的推荐信扫描件;

6. 最新版的中英文个人简历;


申请说明

1. 上传的各种证书、认证、证明须是中文或英文的原件。如为其他语言的文件,须同时上传该文件原件及英文或中文翻译公证件。请用扫描仪将相关文件彩色扫描后上传,不接受手机或相机拍摄的文件,不接受复印件。

2. 上传申请材料的同时须在线支付申请费。请在安全场所上网申请、支付申请费,因自己操作失误或网上支付帐号和密码泄露造成的损失,我校概不负责。网上支付申请费前务必慎重考虑,因各种原因不能申请者,已支付的申请费不予退还。无论申请成功与否,申请费不予退还。

3. 上传申请材料不全或未交申请费,申请将不被受理。申请者应在申请前主动了解申请程序、申请要求,未按照要求完成报名程序的相关后果由申请人本人承担。

4. 我校及院系招生部门有权要求申请者提供申请材料的书面版原件或者指定认证机构出具的认证文件供进一步查验。

6. 无论申请成功与否,申请材料恕不退还。

8. 申请者应保证所提供的申请信息、申请材料、学位证书及学位认证件的真实与准确,一经招生单位或认证部门查证为不属实,将被取消申请、录取或学习资格。

9. 申请人存在学术道德、专业伦理、诚实守信、遵纪守法等方面问题者,一经查实,不予录取或取消学习资格。

10. 我校及相关招生院系以网站、电话、电子邮件、短信等方式公开或发送给申请者的相关信息、文件和消息,均视为送达,因申请者个人疏忽等原因造成的一切后果由申请者本人承担。


考察与录取

清华MBA项目采用“申请-审核"制即申请材料审查加综合考核的方式选拔录取国际研究生。申请材料经相关院系专家组审查,根据综合审查结果择优确定参加综合考核人选。综合考核一般以面试为主,具体内容、形式、要求及时间安排等由清华MBA项目确定并通知进入综合考核的申请者。


清华MBA项目综合考虑材料审查、综合考核等结果,择优选拔,确定预录取名单。通过清华大学审查后,最终录取结果可通过清华大学研究生申请服务系统查询。被录取者,由清华大学发放录取通知书及附录。
