On November 22, 2015, the inaugural ceremony of Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management (Tsinghua SEM) Europe Alumni Association and UK Chapter was held in London. Following that, the Germany Chapter and France Chapter of Tsinghua SEM Europe Alumni Association were established in Munich on November 25 and in Shenzhen on December 22, respectively.
“The Europe Alumni Association is the fourth overseas alumni association established by Tsinghua SEM, after the School’s Hong Kong Alumni Association, Southeast Asia Alumni Association and North America Alumni Association”, Tsinghua SEM Dean QIAN Yingyi said, “Our Alumni Association Network has now covered all the major overseas areas where Tsinghua SEM alumni are active. Establishing these overseas alumni associations is an important part of the School’s global strategy”.
The Presidents of Tsinghua SEM Europe Alumni Association UK Chapter, Germany Chapter and France Chapter are BI Mingqiang (Bachelor’s 1990 / Master’s 1995), ZHAO Jingshi (EMBA 2007) and CHEN Wei (Senior Executive Program), respectively.
