On 28 March, Russ Neu, President of Net Impact Tsinghua, in a joint collaboration with Ai Xin Club (The Loving Hut), went to a school for migrant children at Beijing Xing Zhi Experiment Primary School. At the school, Russ conducted a cultural sharing with the students, allowing them to know more about Singapore, her people and culture.
The students were very enthusiastic during the English lesson, raising their hands eagerly to take part in the quizzes that Russ specially designed for the lesson. The 40 minutes lesson ended all too soon and Russ ended the lesson with a Singapore National Day song ‘What do you see’. It was to spur and inspire the student that if a country that is so small, like Singapore, is able to do well intentionally, so can they, just as the great oak tree grows from a tiny acorn.
